WHAT CLUBS OFFER :
Railway Modelling is a hobby which encompasses many different skills
and techniques, Carpentry, Painting, Wiring, Track Laying, assembly
of kits, or building of models from raw materials.
Membership of a Model Railway Club, or Group, will increase your
expertise and enjoyment of the hobby through sharing experiences
with people with similar interests.
Clubs and Groups cater for all prototypes and interests, be they
European, American, British, New Zealand, Australian, Standard
Gauge or Narrow Gauge and all scales G, O, S, OO, HO, N, and Z.
Exhibitions, Swap Meets and informal gatherings are promoted by
clubs and are the ideal opportunity to make contact with active
modellers.
Model railway Clubs vary greatly in their make up. Some own their
clubrooms with permanent layouts and a large membership, others
have portable, or modular, layouts and operate from rented premises,
while others are small informal groups meeting in members homes.
